Working Hours

All of us work traditional business hours, 8 hours per day, with shifts aligned with US time zones. Each team member is dedicated and committed to quality. Should we on occassion need to give a little extra to launch and love, we pitch in. Any extra effort is noted and compensated for.

We know you have a life outside of work, and we ensure that we all have balance and keep our priorities in order.

Just use good judgment. We're all professinals here. As long as you're clothed, we're cool with your outfit selection. Should you be interviewing with a potential or existing client, we do ask that you put on a First Factory t-shirt, at least.

Here’s how it works:
For all non-employees of First Factory whose referral candidate is hired into a full-time position, the referrer will receive a job referral payout of $2,000 (or another designated amount for specially advertised positions) after the candidate is hired by First Factory and successfully completes a three-month probationary period.

WHO QUALIFIES

Job referral eligibility

Not a current employee

The candidate can't already be on the First Factory team.

Hired into a posted full-time role

The position must be listed on a First Factory site or social channel, a third-party job board (LinkedIn, Acciontrabajo Costa Rica), or a local publication.

New to our pipeline

Incentives only apply to new applicants — anyone already in our applicant-tracking database doesn't qualify.

One referral per hire

The first person to refer a candidate gets the payout. Email time and date stamp decides who's first.
